The Edge

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

As I walk down the causeway toward the precipice for sight,

I see the things I seek to passively dispel.

As one is forced to recognise a past too soon forgotten,

So have I cast out the resemblance of a meaning more than selfish desire.

To be eager and afraid of every touch no more,

I realise that it is true, “Everything that rises must converge.”

In respect to each other the eagerness and desperation of our touch is gone,

When all that remains is promises and will.

I seek the precipice,

so I may turn away from the setting sun.

My journey is not over,

My song has not been sung.

I Run

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I run towards the line,
The line of what has been accomplished,
Accomplished by myself and others,
Others who have been stronger than I,
I will never stop running,
Running to the line,
The line I will breach or die.
